Bulls housed at NSI will be on a twice a week collection schedule. We will utilize ‘teasers’ as means to process collections as naturally as possible. Bulls will be held in staging pens for stimulation and libido boosts prior to collection.

In the event that a bull is unable to jump a steer or is too aggressive in our collection area, for the safety of our team, we may utilize electro-ejaculation methods.

All ejaculations will be extensively evaluated before and after freezing by our lab technicians to ensure a quality product is in hand. The number of straws produced varies from bull to bull, some may produce a high volume, but not all semen passes a quality evaluation to freeze.

CSS bulls will have an extensive vet testing protocol prior to arriving at NSI. Upon arrival, they will be housed in isolation for 6 weeks, after successful test results will move into CSS Residency.

We are thrilled to have a partnership with STgenetics to offer the highest quality of sexed semen on site with their patented sorting machine.

Being in range of thousands of bulls locally, day collections are a must. Day jumps will be offered every Wednesday. Please call the office to schedule your day collection.

Bulls will be housed in large runs with fresh bedding and rural water. Like nowhere else, you, the customer, gets to decide what your bull will get fed. We will offer a TMR feed ration as well as a custom show feed ration. Visit with Cord about your goals and how we can keep them on track while your bull is at the stud!

Semen will be shipped daily. Submit your request and have a shipping notification within 24 hours.

We’re happy to store semen for our producers. Straws are stored in bulk tanks.
